Publishing my writings is always exciting. Seeing each one finished is a wonderful feeling. I enjoy sharing my life experiences with the universe.

The Girl In The Dream a memoir of a baby girl given up at birth by a twenty-two year old Catholic Italian woman. She was adopted by a couple desperately wanting to be parents.
Grace Anna’s feelings of abandonment followed her through childhood and into adulthood. These feelings shaped her early beliefs and relationships. Through determination to be strong and believe in her own self worth, she overcame the many obstacles which allowed her to look at life with a different perspective.
I wrote my memoir to help break through that wall of rejection I was feeling. This story of the child I named Grace Anna in the book is one many women, wives, mothers, and those who have felt abandoned or stuck in a situation during their life can relate to. My hope those reading my memoir know they are not alone. Hold your head up high, believe with determination and faith in yourself you can accomplish your goals and you can have the life you want and deserve. Writing my life story was a work of love and is made special working with my daughter Dorothy, who designed the cover.

HER Small Spaces & Well Traveled Places is filled with the people met and the places I have traveled. In reading this book you are taken to beautiful amazing places. You are introduced to wonderful fascinating common folk that I have met on my adventures. HER Small Spaces & Well Traveled Places is perfect for curling up with, to be taken to places you have yet to experience, or to bring back those wonderful memories of your travels.
I decided to compile many of my writings about the places I have been and the interesting people I have met along the way. Six years earlier I had compiled a short book of essays from my collection of writings from the past fifty years. It was a random collection of some of my favorites. This first book simply titled HER was a wonderful learning experience. Since then I have organized my writings under a theme. This book HER Small Spaces & Well Traveled Places shares with you some of my favorite adventures. I worked with my teenage nephew Ethan who did the graphic art work that is on the first page of each chapter. Inserting artwork was also a fun learning experience. My hope is to have HER as a series. My second book HER Family, Friends, & Folks is below. I am presently working on the third book. I hope to have it published soon.

HER Family, Friends & Folks is a collection of memories from childhood through adolescence and adulthood. The Family chapter is a collection of experiences with parents, siblings, and moments shared while raising my children. Friends chapter compiles reminiscences of those special people who have been a part of my life. Folks chapter is a group of essays of the people and the events that have made an impression over the years. Some times funny, some times sad but all are valuable memories.
I compiled this book shortly after publishing HER Small Spaces & Well Traveled Places. I have many essays of the memories of the loved ones around me. Some of the essays question my own thoughts and feelings. Other essays such as Mother and Daughter Doing Dishes is a funny time with my daughter. Once again I learned how to insert photographs from my life. The photos are scattered throughout the writings. My hope is that while you are reading one or two of my memories you will be reminded of a time in your life that has given you a wonderful memory.

HER Memories, Thoughts & Feelings is a collection of essays. Memories are about those special places and people. Thoughts are things I have wondered about and questioned. Feelings are personal writings most are about my relationship with my partner of forty years. The essays are both funny and serious. They are written from life’s experiences. Most of which I believe readers can relate to.
Finishing this book of essays HER Memories, Thoughts & Feelings is very exciting for me. This completes my HER book series. Of the three books I feel a special attachment to the essays in this book. Some of the essays go right to my heart. I am opening up about feelings and I feel vulnerable. Sharing I believe is important. I know there have been times when I have felt like I was the only one going through one of life’s ups or downs. By sharing I am reassuring others that they are not alone.
